이 작품은 작가 윤진섭이 오더(Order)란 예명으로 출품한 것이다. 작가 겸 미술평론가인 윤진섭의 집에는 매일 전국에서 많은 양의 도록과 엽서, 책들이 배달돼 오는데, 전에는 종이봉투였으나 십수년 전부터 비닐봉투를 사용하고 있다.
이 작품은 환경오염과 생태의 문제에 대해 깊은 관심을 지닌 작가 오더가 2018년 7월 13일부터 집에 배달돼 온 비닐봉투를 모아 공처럼 둥글게 만든 것이다. 4년간 모은 숫자가 약 70여 개에 달하니 전국적 규모를 생각하면 상당한 양이 될 것이다. 작가는 환경오염과 생태계 파괴의 문제를 다 함께 고민하고 풀어가고자 한다. 관객들이 공의 표면에 원하는 그림이나 메시지를 남김으로써, 지구의 황폐화 문제에 대해 생각해 보는 계기가 되길 희망한다.
