<랜드 스코프 Land Scope> 

이것은 내가 멕시코의 ‘과파마카타로 예술 및 생태’ (Guapamacátaro Art & Ecology)의 레지던시 프로그램에 예술가로 참가했을 때, 개발한 생태예술 프로젝트이다. 나는 레지던시 장소 주변의 환경에 대한 정보를 기록하기 위해 전자현미경을 사용한다. 짧은 거리마다 6개의 패트리 접시를 이용하여 환경자료를 수집하고, 스튜디오로 가져와 관찰하고 사진을 찍는다. 마지막으로 주변의 7곳의 표면 상태를 수집해 1230장의 전자현미경 사진을 찍었다. 그리고는 사진들을 데이터 세트로 모아 styleGAN2를 이용하여 인공지능(AI) 모델을 생성하고 왼쪽 편에 he AI 애니메이션을 전시했다. 동시에 나는 드론으로 많은 사진을 찍었다. 그리고 나는 드로 사진들을 3D 소프트웨어로 재구성하고 3D 모델을 가지고 있다. 그다음 나는 그것을 오른쪽에 보여주는 애니메이션을 촬영하기 위해 게임 엔진에 넣을 것이다. 화면 위쪽 중앙에는 드론 사진을 전시하고 아래쪽 중앙에는 전자현미경 사진들을 전시한다. 제 스튜디오의 창문처럼 창틀의 양쪽은 AI 동영상과 3D 애니메이션이고, 인간에 의해 만들어졌지만, 화면 중앙에 있는 사진들만이 우리가 창문에서 밖을 보는 현실 세계의 사진이다.

This is an ecological art project I developed during my artist in residence at Guapamacátaro Art & Ecology. I use an electron microscope to record information about the environment around the resident's yard. Every short distance, I used 6 petri dishes to collect the surrounding environmental materials, and brought them back to the studio to observe and take pictures. Finally, the surface conditions of the surrounding seven places were collected, and 1230 electron microscope pictures were taken. Then I packaged the photos as a dataset, trained with styleGAN2 and generated an AI model and display he AI animation on the left side. At the same time, I took a lot of photos with drones. And I reconstruct the drone photos in 3D software and have the 3D model. Then I will put it into the game engine for shooting animations which I am showing on the right. The top center are displaying the drone photos, and the bottom center are displaying the electron microscopes photos. Just like the window at my studio, the two sides of window frame are the AI video and 3D animation, made be human, only the center photos are from the real world, the way we see outside from the windows.
