검은 다이아몬드  Le diamant noir (Black Diamond)

 

결과는 채굴 활동이 끝난 뒤 자연이 서서히 회복해나가는 광물 지역에서 일어난다.
잘려진 나무 몸통 주위에 세워진 진화적 조각은 나무의 가지들이 철재 속에 뚫려진 구멍들을 통해 서서히 자라나게 한다.
다이아몬드는 자연히 스스로를 자연으로 감싸는 석탄을 상징한다. (석탄과 다이아몬드는 모두 순수 탄소이다.)

 

The event takes place in a mineral field, where nature slowly recovers after the end of the mining activity.
Built around a pollarded tree trunk, the evolutive sculpture allows branches from the tree to grow slowly through the holes of the punched steel.
The diamond symbolizes the coal (coal and diamond are both pure carbon) letting itself cover by the nature, which takes its course.

 

진홍색  Cardinal

 

이 기본적 작품은 빨간 띠로 둘러진 산의 연장된 선들로 이루어져 있다. 이는 정상이라는 이름의 가치를 얻을 수 있도록 카퓌신의 정상에 이르기까지 새로운 실루엣을 그리기 위한 것이다.
설치물의 내부에서 바라보면 전경은 여러 장면들의 일련으로 잘려져 있다.

 

This basic work consists of extending the lines of the mountain with red straps in order to draw a new silhouette to the peak of the Capucin, so that it can deserve its name of peak.
Viewed from inside the installation, the landscape is cut into many sequences.

 

 

스턴트맨  Cascadeurs (The Stuntmen)

 

계단 형태의 폭포와 어린 시절 놀이의 중간 지점, 설치작품은 폭포의 자연적 방향에 도전한다.
24개의 강판 지붕들은 물에 의해 숨겨져 있는 철재 기본 틀에 고정되어 있다.
각 지붕의 아래에는 묘기 새가 쉴 곳을 찾아 올 경우를 위해 작은 나무 횃대가 세워져 있다.
프랑스어의 cascade는 ‘곡예’와 ‘폭포’ 두 가지의 뜻을 지니고 있다.

Halfway between a stepped cascade and a school game, the installation tries to challenge the natural way of the waterfall.
24 sheet-steel roofs are fixed on a steel baseframe, which is hidden by the water.
For the record, there is a small wooden perch under each roof, in case a ««stunt bird»» would like to come and shelter.
