<잎 셸터 Leaf Shelter>
내가잎 셸터 = 관계 속에서 사는 모습.
나무들은 다닥다닥 붙어 자라기 때문에 서로 자라나는 모습에 영향을 줄 뿐만 아니라 잎의 모양도 잎이 매달려 있는 나무의 모습에 영향을 받는다. 잎 셸터는 사람이 이런 아름다움을 깊이 생각하는 그리고 살아있는 유기체들이 서로 얼마나 돈독한 관계를 맺고 있는지를 깊이 숙고하는 공간이다 - 땅에서부터 높은 곳에 매달려 탁 트인 공간에서(공중에 사다리를 놓을 수 있다) 햇볕을 쬐지만, 사람들은 두 나무가 어떻게 자라나는 지에만 관심을 두면서 두 나무가 주고 받는 교감의 일부가 될 것이다. 셸터의 모습은 쌍을 이루는 특정 나무들의 잎 모양에 영향을 받는다.
Leaf Shelter = the shape of living in relationship. Trees that grow close together influence each other’s shape, and often the shape of a leaf corresponds to the shape of the tree it belongs to. Leaf Shelter is a space where a person
can meditate on this beauty and intricacy of relationship between living organisms - lifted from the ground and insolated (the ladder can be drawn up into the space) in an open ended space where the flow of life between the two trees will be the focus of the person’s awareness, and s/he will become part of the communion between the two trees. The shape of the shelter will be inspired by and correspond to the shape of the leaves of the particular trees in the pairing.
