<숨쉬는 숲 Breathing the forest> 

숨을 쉰다는 것은 움직임이고 생명이다. 숨을 쉬는 것은 심장이 뛰는 것이고, 심장이 움직이는 것이다. 나는 자연의 숨을 다리 밑에 매달린 두 개의 나뭇잎으로 상징하는 것을 상상했다. 나뭇잎은 노란색 철 막대기로 만들었다.

철 막대기는 각각 다리에 부착했고, 바람이 불면 이리저리 움직인다. 나는 보는 사람이 나뭇잎의 떨림을 더 감지할 수 있도록 하나의 나뭇잎 뒤에 다른 나뭇잎을 배열했다.

나는 또한 숨을 쉬면서 아마존 열대림은 지구의 허파 역할을 하고, 우리에게 산소를 제공한다는 것을 생각했다.

이 두 나뭇잎은 우리의 머리 위에도 걸려 있다.

Breathing involves movement of life. Breathing is a beating heart, a heart that moves.

I imagined to symbolize that the breath of Nature are two leaves hanging below a bridge. The leaves are made with yellow stick metal.

With a breath of air, the leaves come alive and vibrate with the wind. They make us see Nature. Each metal stick is individually attached to the bridge and can freely move in the wind or air. I put leaves behind one another for enhanced vibration perceived by the viewer.

Breathing the forest can also be seen as the Amazonian forest, the lungs of our planet that gives us oxygen.

These two leaves are also hanging over our heads.
