<바람이 부는 것을 느낄 때 When I Feel Wind Blow>

고마나루 이야기를 들은 뒤, 연미산을 산책했다. 불규칙하게 부는 바람, 변화하는 빛, 피부에 닿는 공기의 촉감, 냄새 등을 통해서 다시금 이야기를 느낄 수 있었다.

과거부터 현재까지 그리고 미래로 이어지는 이야기는 공기처럼 모든 곳에 존재하지만 평상시에는 인지하지 못하듯 지금도 빛과 공기를 통해 여전히 이곳에 살아있다.

이 곰은 내가 느낀 감정 중 하나이다. 작업을 보는 이로 하여금 이야기에 대한 자기만의 느낌과 감정이 개인적인 모습으로 살아났으면 한다.

바람이 부는 것을 느낄 때처럼

After hearing the story of Gomanaru, I took a walk in Mt. Yeonmi. Irregular wind, changing sunlight, and feel and smell of air on the skin reminded me of the story. The story handed down from old days and which will be told long into the future is alive here in light and air. As light and air, the story is ubiquitous here. The bear in the story is one of what I became emotional to. I want each of spectators of my work to feel his or her own emotion, like the time when one feels wind blow.
