태초에 우주형성을 계기로 인류는 흙을 소재로 빚어졌고 숨을 불어넣어 생명을 갖게 되었다. 그 후, 흙, 물, 나무, 금속, 불인 오행의 근원을 가지고 일상에서 사용하는 그릇을 만들었다.

조소는 조각과 소조를 말하며 다듬고 새로운 것을 창조함을 뜻한다. 한반도에서 구석기인들은 뗀석기를 조각하고 신석기인들은 빗살무늬토기를 소조하였다. 이 때, 빚어진 그릇은 생고기를 삶고 곡식을 저장하였으며 물을 이동하였다. 이로서 다른 동물에서 볼 수 없는 창의적 발상을 인류가 해낸 것이다.

지금까지 인류의 발전에 가장 의미가 있고 유용하게 사용되었으며 이보다 비교되는 물질은 아직은 없다. 이토록 인류의 속성과 관습을 대표하는 토기를 빚으며 선인들의 지혜로운 업적을 동경하게 되었으며 창조의 뿌리를 찾아 감사의 마음이 스며들었다.

이젠 새로운 세상을 콜라보하여 보자. 미래의 나의 일상을 위하여... 시^^익

After the universe was created, humans were made with earth, breath was blown to, and they became alive. Afterwards, humans came to build wares to use in their daily lives with five elements ― earth, water, tree, metal, and fire.

Plastic art is sculpture and molding, which means carving and creating new things. In the Korean peninsula, people in the Old Stone Age chipped stone implements and people in the New Stone Age molded brush-patterned earthen wares. The wares were used to boil flesh, store grains, and carry water. With the wares, humans became creative beings, unlike other animals.

From the ancient times, there has not been anything more meaningful or useful than earthen wares. While building earthen wares, I came to admire wisdom of our ancestors, and feel that the process of making them is the root of creation.

Let's collaborate to build a new world, for our daily lives in the future... Si^^ik
