<메뚜기 Grasshopper>
혁신적인 발명과 새로운 기술이 등장한 21세기에서, 지식은 사람들을 자연으로부터 더 멀어지게 했다. 사람들은 편의를 위해 땅, 공기, 불, 물과 작별할 준비가 되어 있다. 자연과의 부조화는 돌이킬 수 없는 결과를 초래하기 때문에 예술가들은 그들의 작품으로 우리의 삶과 우리가 살아가는 지구를 올바르게 다루는 방법을 보여줘야 한다.
이 작품은 대나무로 만든 거대한 메뚜기이다. 재료로는 질감이 메뚜기를 연상케 하는 대나무를 선택했다. 관람객들은 머리를 통해 안으로 들어가 메뚜기의 다리로 나올 수 있고, 안에서 일행과 함께 자연을 즐길 수 있다. 이 작품은 순수한 자연의 세계로 안내하는 통로가 될 것이다.
In the 21st century, fueled by innovative inventions and new technology, knowledge has more and more alienated people from nature. For the sake of convenience, people are ready to say goodbye to earth, air, fire and water. Disharmony with nature leads to irrevocable consequences, so artists need to show how to treat the planet Earth and our own lives properly through their artwork.
This artwork represents a huge grasshopper made of bamboo. I have chosen bamboo as material since its texture reminded me of a grasshopper. Viewers can enter inside through the head and exit through the bridge of the grasshopper and enjoy nature with others inside. This work will be a passage to guide the world of pure nature.
