숨쉬는 풍경

들이마시고,

내뱉고

주변 풍경을 삼킨다.,

한 숨에

배경이 드러난다

전경처럼

우리의 관점을 옮긴다.

한 번에 작은 한 조각씩만 드러낸다.

앞으로 흐르거나,

혹은 뒤로 물러난다.

우리의 자기-중요성의 취약한 상태에

지지대를 제공한다.

우리가 중요하지 않는

보다 큰 그림은 보지 못한 체,

 

그것이 문제가 되게 하라.

이것이 문제가 되게 하라.

이 귀중한 공간을 소중히 여기라.

지평선과 맞추라.

강과 맞추라.

산과 맞추라.

나무들과 맞추라.

사이에 있는 선 하나

공기처럼 엷은

지구와 하늘 사이에

너와 나 사이에

Offering support

To our fragile state

of self-importance.

Blind to the bigger picture

of our insignificance.

 

Make it matter.

Make this matter

worth this precious space.

Align with the horizon.

Align with the river.

Align with the mountains.

Align with the trees.

A line between.

Thin as air.

Between earth and heaven.

Between you and me.
