<모노리스를 생각하며 Thinking about Monolith>

단일 석조물 - 돌처럼 단단하고 안정적이며 영원한 존재. 힘과 영속성, 시간에 대한 저항의 상징이다. 마치 역사 밖에 있듯, 변화나 쇠퇴를 초월한 채 흔들림 없이 서 있다.

반면 오늘날의 재료들은 스티로폼, 플라스틱, 합판처럼 가볍고, 연약하며, 일회용이다.

이 대비 속에서 우리의 시대가 드러난다. 피상적이고 빠르며 환상으로 가득 찬, 덧없음 속에서 단단함을 찾으려 하는 시대다.

A monolith - solid, stable, eternal like stone. A symbol of strength, permanence, and resistance to time. It stands unmoved, as if outside of history, beyond change or decay. 

Meanwhile, the materials of our time are styrofoam, plastic, plywood - light, fragile, disposable. In this contrast, our era reveals itself: superficial, fast, full of illusions - seeking solidity in impermanence.
